A FEW WORDS FROM HEATHER: In my practice, I have been fortunate to work with a variety of individuals of all ages with a range of mental health concerns such as severe mental illness, anxiety disorders, trauma, and bereavement, adjustment concerns, to problem solving skills and coping. I enjoy working with individuals and view the therapeutic interactions with my clients as unique dynamic learning experiences in the healing process.
At the core of my practice, I believe that each person has the ability to learn, grow, and change. My goal is to help people discover a life that has purpose, deeply meaningful relationships, and joy. I fully believe in the benefits of not being alone while navigating the complexities of life. Virtually any issue confronting an individual can be addressed through counseling and turned into healing, empowerment, and continued inner strength.
