Licensed in both Alaska and Idaho, Katelyn’s practice emphasizes meeting clients where they are and blending counseling and coaching strategies to being about the change individuals would like to see. Katelyn regularly works with individuals and leaders struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, and trauma. A FEW WORDS FROM KATELYN: As a leader and clinician, I approach each client with a collaborative and strengths-based mindset to ensure that their needs are prioritized throughout the change process. Drawing from a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients navigate complex emotions, build resilience, and achieve their personal and professional goals. My work is deeply rooted in trauma-informed care, focusing on creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges and strengths. I integrate coaching and mindfulness practices as well as reflective exercises to foster self-awareness and empower clients in their journey toward growth and well-being. Sessions are tailored to each individual, honoring their unique experiences and leveraging their intrinsic strengths for sustainable change. OTHER INTERESTS: Outside of my professional work, I enjoy staying active through exercise and hiking, as well as unwinding with a good book or spending meaningful time at church and with my family. I love to travel and appreciate days spent relaxing at the beach or by a pool, watching an engaging movie, or practicing meditation. I am passionate about lifelong learning and actively seek opportunities to explore new topics and broaden my knowledge. I also find great fulfillment in consulting, where I can add value to organizations and systems dedicated to enhancing the well-being of their staff and the individuals they serve. I look forward to connecting with you soon! " All change comes through the context of relationship."
