A FEW WORDS FROM BRITTANY:
Being vulnerable in counseling is necessary, but it can also be challenging. My main priority as a therapist is to cultivate an environment where you can be transparent without the fear of judgment. I create a safe space with warmth, humor, and a new perspective. My creative professional background is something that I incorporate in sessions, and I tailor my style to meet my clients’ needs. I am passionate about helping clients understand their communication styles and build healthier relationships. My interests include self-esteem building, disordered eating, anger issues, and trauma. I use an eclectic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Solution-Focused counseling. I look forward to meeting you!
I also have a background in film and media production. This is still very much a passion of mine! When I am not in the therapy chair, you can find me checking out a new movie, taking photos, or hanging out with my family. I also love being outside and around nature.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
