A FEW WORDS FROM BRITTANY:
Being vulnerable in counseling is necessary, but it can also be challenging. My main priority as a therapist is cultivating an environment where you can be transparent without fearing judgment. I create a safe space with warmth, humor, and a new perspective. I am passionate about helping clients understand their communication styles and build healthier relationships. My interests include self-esteem building, identity exploration, anger issues, PMDD, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I use a holistic approach to my treatment, considering the client’s environment and lifestyle. I utilize a variety of modalities, such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I do frequent check-ins regarding modalities and treatment approaches as I want to find solutions that work best for my clients. I look forward to meeting you!
I also have a background in film and media production. This is still very much a passion of mine! When I am not in the therapy chair, you can find me checking out a new movie, taking photos, or hanging out with my family. I also love being outside and around nature.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
