Kyle Carpenter, LPCABOUT KYLE:
Kyle earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Corban University and his undergraduate degrees from NNU. Since completing his education, he has worked with adults, adolescents/teens, and families within both Idaho and Oregon. He has experience with a variety of age groups and populations and has more extensive experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, spiritual or identity exploration, autism and other spectrums, chronic illness, and addictions. He is culturally and trauma informed and supports individuals with processing, exploring, and redefining their relationship with the parts of self. He aims to provide an identity affirming and relaxed place for individuals to take the steps towards further freedom, creativity, and confidence. A FEW WORDS FROM KYLE: I enjoy using humanistic, experiential, and internal family systems strategies primarily in my practice, yet I also pull from existential, Adlerian, and psychodynamic lenses, to name a few. Our bodies and minds are often running at a disconnect. I have learned that this disconnect can wreak havoc in many ways if not properly addressed. Things like trauma or anxiety, can oftentimes leave us fragmented and without integration of clarity and safety. Together, we will get you back on track with more clarity and internal connection to achieve your goals. OTHER INTERESTS: As a native from Idaho, I have been lucky to experience the wonderful outdoors here in Idaho and the west, while also enjoying riding horses and hiking. In my spare time, I enjoy playing/writing music on guitar, snowboarding, and watching old movies. I am an open book, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. "Another kind of happiness exists that you can feel steadily whether you are in a relationship or not. It comes from a connectedness that happens when all your parts see and trust one another and feel accepted by the Self."
