Robbie Newman, LCPCNow seeing clients in our Rupert, Idaho office.
ABOUT ROBBIE: Robbie achieved his Masters of Education from the University of Idaho. Robbie has been practicing in the Treasure Valley for over 10 years and has a strong background in crisis counseling and working with adolescents and adults. A FEW WORDS FROM ROBBIE: We as people tend to project our understanding of ourselves onto the rest of our environment. If we don’t feel very great about ourselves, that can impact how we see the rest of the world and how we go about living in it. My focus is to help you better understand yourself and work towards a new way of navigating the world around you. In therapy, my drive is to work towards bridging the gap of understanding between you and I. I believe in making sure there is a good working relationship between us so that we may embark on a quality journey in wellness. When we have a positive alliance, my goal is to help you develop helpful skills and tools that are fitted uniquely to you. My practice includes working with adolescents and adults. My main focus areas include anger management, managing anxiety, working through trauma, mindfulness, and self-care. Here’s to positive wellness and finding renewed satisfaction in life! OTHER INTERESTS: I like to make sure I get my own self-care and adventure! I enjoy quality time with friends and family. I also enjoy exploring Idaho’s roads on my motorcycle in the warmer months and Idaho’s mountains on a snowboard in the colder months. "Always remember: you don’t have to merely accept the present as it appears to be. Dare to see it for what it could be."
